DR JONATHAN AT 61

On Tuesday, November 20, 2018, the Face of Democracy in Africa, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, will be 61 years old. On that same day, he will be presenting his brilliant book, My Transition Hours, to the public.
Finally, through that book, the world will get to see the man behind close doors and will, I hope, found out that no Nigerian leader has shown the level of self sacrifice, self control and restraint that former President Jonathan showed during and after his five year tenure as President.
However, because of a long succession of brutal military dictators beginning from 1966 and continuing even into the advent of the Fourth Republic, many Nigerians have been conditioned to see brutality as strength and restraint as weakness.
But after three years of a brutal and brutally ineffective President, many citizens are only coming to know now what I knew in 2010-that Dr. Goodluck Jonathan is a leader of men who sees the people as the big picture rather than himself.
He tried to show Nigerians the true meaning of leadership. Unfortunately, the psyche of our people has for long been conditioned to respecting leaders who rule, who boss and who throw their weight around. It was a culture shock to have a leader who rather than throw his considerable weight around, three his intellect around, which is why no leader in Nigeria’s history has built as many schools as Dr. Jonathan did.
And the thing is that he did not have to. Primary education is the constitutional preserve of the states. Yet President Jonathan built 165 almajiri schools because he could not sit by and watch as 11 million Nigerian children, mostly in the North, were out of the school system.
Not stopping there, he built fourteen new universities comprising of twelve new federal universities and two specialised universities. Before Jonathan, 12 Nigerian states had no federal universities. After Jonathan, no Nigerian state was without at least one university.
I had the privilege of asking him why he did what he did and he told me in California, while playing with my children, as follows ‘Reno, no investment yields as much profit as education’. Indeed, Jonathan is a philosopher king!
From him, I learnt that the best way to be a leader is not to boss people around, but to help solve their problems. Think of it this way. There are many ships in the sea and the sea is dark. If you want all the ships to come to you, then be a lighthouse and they will come to you of their own accord.
I remember when I joined him on a trip to London and at the airport, the Nigerian High Commission to the U.K. had provided a Mercedes sedan to pick him up from the airport. I was to join him at his hotel, so I escorted him to the car with another of his associates. He got in and then looked at me and asked what I was waiting for. I told him I would get a taxi and he goes, ‘don’t be silly’, then does the most amazing thing. He shifted to the middle of the back seat and beckoned on my friend and I to join him on what is known as the owners’ corner in Nigeria. I know of no other leader with the humility to do that.
A quintessential leader is Dr. Jonathan. A man who treated everyone with respect even though he was the President of the largest Black nation on earth who led her to become Africa’s economy. One thing you can be sure of is that if President Jonathan is looking down at you, he is doing so only because he is admiring your shoes.
I learnt true humility from him, but it was in the area of communication that President Jonathan schooled me the best. From him I discovered that learning the art of communication will make you a leader. Dr. Jonathan never speak just to express yourself. He considers that a waste of time. Rather, he always speaks to persuade others. When others are talking, he listens to them as if they are the most important persons on earth. Honestly, it is an almost ecstatic event to have a one on one communication with Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.
As he turns 61 today, I want to remind Nigerians of a statement he made four years ago.
On the 7th of March 2014, then President Jonathan said “I am loyal to Nigeria’s economy. I don’t have accounts or property abroad. All my children school in Nigeria”.
Till date, nobody has been able to contradict that statement because it is true. But even more impressive is the fact that not one of those who have made it their career to blame Jonathan for everything that is wrong with their lives, can say the same thing.
Dr. Jonathan was able to achieve this because he was a patriot who really believes in Nigeria. Look at his initiatives to turn around the lives of Nigerian youths. You have the Youth Enterprise With Innovation in Nigeria (YouWin), the Graduate Internship Scheme (GIS), the Presidential Special Scholarship Scheme for Innovations and Development scholarships (PRESSID) to First Class graduates of Nigerian universities to mention a few.
With these schemes, it is no wonder that Nigeria under Jonathan became the third fastest growing economy in the world according to CNNMoney and the International Monetary Fund.
Nowadays, those who rode to power on the back of the freedoms that Dr. Jonathan ensured in Nigeria now threaten to lock up their critics citing ‘hate speech’. Have these individuals ever sat down to consider that under Jonathan’s leadership, not one single person was sent to prison because of anything he or she wrote or said about the President or the government he headed. Nigeria had no political prisoners under Jonathan’s administration and the nation certainly did not have any prisoners of conscience because Jonathan himself ensured that he acted according to his conscience in all he did.
On social media, I read many Nigerian youths saying things like, how did we go from ‘my ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian’ to being called lazy Nigerian youths? That is one question I cannot answer. But one thing I know, the Nigerian youth under President Jonathan were some of the most talented and productive.
That is why Nigeria was rated by Gallup as the happiest nation in the world under Jonathan. Think about that for a minute and then join me in wishing Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan a very well deserved happy birthday as well as a long and fulfilled life to continue serving humanity through the Goodluck Jonathan Foundation.

ATIKU IN THE BIBLE ERA

IF THE BIBLE WERE TO BE WRITTEN IN OUR TIME, THE STORY OF ATIKU COULD HAVE BEEN THUS*

AN ACCOUNT OF THE TRIALS OF ATIKU THE SON OF ABUBAKAR

1. In the seventh year that king Obasanjo reigned over the kingdom, a great trouble broke out in the land. For when his time was come nigh that he may descend from the throne that he called unto himself noble men in the land.

2. And he declared unto them saying: "Now that my days on the throne are few, allow me therefore to rule over thee for another four years".

3. And he gathered together of them that maketh laws in the Red Chamber in the city of the king, and even unto they in the Green Chamber, that they may amend the books of the law to favour him.

4. But this thing grieved Atiku the son of Abubakar who was the king's deputy. And he said unto his master, "howbeit seekest thou to rule over the people for another term?  sweareth not thou by the name of thy god to set me upon the throne after thee?

5. Practice thou not this great evil against me and against the kingdom for it is written in the books of the law that a king may not reign but for two terms which equal eight years''. But these words changeth not the heart of the king.

6. And Atiku conspired with the Governors of the provinces and of the men who maketh laws in the city of the great king and they rejected king Obasanjo that he may continually reign over the kingdom.

7. And the king was wrought with grave anger and he declared according to these words to Atiku  the son of Abubakar saying, "because thou hath done this great evil unto me, thou shall no longer sit upon the throne of this kingdom even unto thy death".

8. When the son of Abubakar saw that the king favoureth him not, that he departed from the camp of the king by the name PDP, and pitched his tent in the camp of the king's adversaries by the name ACN that he may contend the throne of the kingdom.

9.  And it came to pass that Governor Yaradua who ruleth over the province of Katsina found favour in the sight of king Obasanjo. And when the time was come for the appointment of the king that he defeated Atiku and was appointed and anointed king over the kingdom. And king Yaradua ruleth the kingdom with the fear of God. But his days as king was full of affliction.

10. And when king Yaradua gave up the ghost that Goodluck the son of Jonathan who siteth by his side as the deputy reigned after him. But when the time was come nigh that the son of Jonathan be appointed again that Atiku departed from the camp of the king's adversaries and entered into the king's camp that he may be appointed.

11 . But the son of Jonathan defeated Atiku again for he spake according to these words unto the people, "I feel thy pains brethren for I was once like thee. I wore no sandals on the soul of my feet in the years of my youth when seeketh I knowledge, for my parents were of little means". And the people loved him and appointed him.

12. And the host of the other camps were vexed with a great vexation. For sixteen years they made battle against the king's camp and hath not prevailed against it.

13. And a certain noble man by the name Audu the son of Ogbe declared unto the leaders of the camps that contended the throne with the king's camp saying: "howbeit thinkest thou in thy heart to prevail against the king's camp if comest thou not together as one?

14. Harken to my voice this day, come let us reason together that we may enlarge our coast  and verily, verily I say unto thee, the throne of the kingdom shall be delivered into our hands.

15. Of the camps that came together that day to form the APC were ACN from the west, ANPP from the North and a part of APGA from the East of the kingdom. Even the unhappy in the camp of PDP crossed over into the camp too.

16. And Atiku the son of Abubakar departed again from the king's camp by the name PDP and entered into the camp of the king's adversaries that he may contend the throne.

17. But Mohammed the son of Buhari was favoured among them that seeketh the throne from the camp of the APC for he swore unto the leaders of the camp saying, "Behold brethren, I am full of age and my eyes are becoming dim, suffer me to ascend unto the throne for I shall only reign for four years". And Buhari was anointed king over the kingdom.

18. And it troubled the son of Abubakar in his heart that he was rejected as king again. But he saith in his heart, I shall be of long suffering and remain in this camp for I shall ascend unto the throne after the fourth year of king Buhari.

19. But it came to pass that as the end of the fourth year of king Buhari's reign was at hand that the advisers in the king's court said unto him, be of good courage, gird thy loins and present thyself to be appointed again to reign over the kingdom for another four years.

20. And when Atiku heard of these words that he was vexed with anger and he repenteth that he joined the APC.

21. And he said, "I shall arise and go back to PDP which is the camp of my youth. And I shall declare unto them, “I have sinned against thee and against God. Accept me this day that I may once again contend the throne in thy bosom”.

22. And on the twenty fourth day of the eleventh month of the year before a new king is appointed that Atiku the son of Abubakar departed from the camp of APC and joined the camp of his youth.

23. And there was great jubilation in the camp of PDP that day for they said, “Verily, the prodigal son returneth.

24. But they forgot that Aremu, the son of Obasanjo, who still sees himself as the King maker, will not approve of it.

Letter of withdrawal from the Bayelsa East Senatorial Race

I thank God and the good people of Brass, Bayelsa East Senatorial District who offered me the golden opportunity four years ago to represent them and the state in the Senate, Nigeria’s highest lawmaking chamber.

It is without doubt that I have tried to discharge my duties as a legislator and representative of my people creditably to the best of my ability so far.

My voice has been very loud on the issues that matter to our people and our country at all time.

My support to our party, my people and state government is unquestionable. I am humbled that the national leadership of my party supported by the State chapter in appreciation of my efforts offered to support my reelection to the senate to continue my service.

I have also intensified consultations in the last couple of week in the course of which I have come to realize an existing local rotational arrangement of over 20 years beginning with the late Great Chief Melford Okilo, by which arrangement the Senatorial seat rotates per local government area among the three councils for four years in the Senatorial District.

Even with the support of my party at the National and state levels with the full backing of my state government and leadership, as a man of honour interested in the well being of my people, I hereby announce my withdrawal from the Senatorial race.

I do not want whatever reason to appear to have used my privileged
position and influence to do anything that other than the well-being and the stability and the good of the people.

I am in all of these for the people, not for my self.

Once again, I thank the former President, Dr. Goodluck Ebelo Jonathan, the National Chairman, Prince Uche Secondus, my colleagues in the Senate and Governor of Bayelsa State, the Honourable Henry Seriake Dickson for their support and encouragement.

I also thank the leadership of my Senatorial District and state, for for being there for me.

I thank Specially the people of my constituency for their trust and confidence in me to serve and represent them in the Senate.
By trusting me with this mandate, I have come to know them and our people even better, an experience I will never forget for the rest of my life.

I am indeed grateful to My darling wife, my children, other members of my family for their support and prayers. I appreciate the efforts of my hardworking campaign staff for their support and dedication.

Again, I thank the leadership of the party for their continuing support. I also assured the party of my availability and readiness to serve at any capacity when the opportunity comes.

Best Regards

Senator Ben Murray Bruce.

*Sanwo-Olu Is Not Fit To Be Governor- Ambode*

Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode has revealed that aspirant, Jide Sanwo-Olu is not fit to be Governor.

Ambode revealed this at a Press Conference held in Lagos. He disclosed that Sanwo-Olu is being pushed to do what he is not capable of.

Ambode said; “We have never responded to the campaign of calumny on social media. We have one family in APC. The aspirant being put up to compete against us is not a fit and proper person to take this job,” he said.

“I have done everything in the last three and half years to serve people selflessly and to serve the poor.

“This particular aspirant is somebody that has been arrested for spend fake dollars in a nightclub in America, and he has been detained for months.

“He doesn’t have the competence to do what he is being propelled to do. This is somebody that has gone for rehabilitation before. The records are there at the Gbagada General Hospital. We don’t want to go to far. Our leadership should have a rethink.

“I plead with our leaders to have a rethink, It is not about me, it is about the opportunity that APC has.”

NIGERIANS TALKING ABOUT CBN, SKYE & POLARIS

Is it the greatest Govt. scam ever?

Just 4 individuals/entities sent Skye Bank to the grave - through insider loans. They're:
1. Tunde Ayeni (former boss of the bank): 89.4 billion naira (used to acquire Ibadan and Yola Discos, and Nitel), 29.5 billion discovered in suspense account linked to him, 6.8 million dollars diverted into his law firm.

2. Festus Fadeyi (his son as a non-executive director of the bank): 616 million dollars (#191 billion) for his company, Pan Ocean.

3. Jide Omokore: #110billion: for AEDC (#56billion), Cedar Oil/Gas (#22billion), Real Banc Ltd (#31billion).

4. Forte Oil: #11.6billion.

Now, the CBN has coughed out #1.4trillion taxpayers' monies (the majority of whom cannot even assess basic loans for start-ups from the same bank) to bail out the bank, and the criminals are living large.

 ATTENTION!!!

Polaris Bank SCAM ALERT

THE FRAUD, THE LIES, BEHIND SKYE BANK TAKEOVER!

On Friday 21st September 2018, Nigerians were greeted with a sudden liquidation and take over of SKYE BANK.

One could quickly ask, what really happened? Few days before this, CBN cleared the air that Skye Bank is healthy and gave it a loan of N100b. It also praised the management team for their efficiency in running the bank.

But suddenly, on 21st September, an unknown company was named as the new owner of the said Skye Bank.

Now the question is WHO ARE POLARIS BANK LIMITED? WHERE HAVE THEY BEEN? WHERE IS THEIR HEADQUARTERS? HAVE ANY BODY OWN AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM BEFORE? ETC.

My search revealed that POLARIS is or was merely a LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY that is "registered with CAC on 14th of June 2015 and till date have no fix address.

Record showed that POLARIS don't have any banking record or background to warrant it to take over an already established Bank of this magnitude - Skye Bank.

It might interest you to know that as of 21st of September 2018 when Polaris took over Skye Bank Plc, CAC website still puts Polaris Bank limited under search" meaning its registration is not completed.

That POLARIS LIMITED had only had its "board" by special resolution changed its name from POLARIS LIMITED TO POLARIS BANK LIMITED  14th SEPTEMBER, 2018.

THAT WAS ISSUED A CERTIFICATE OF REGISTRATION SAME DAY THEY TOOK OVER SKYE BANK PLC.

WHAT IS HAPPENING HERE???

Can a company be registered the same day and take over another established company?

Can a none financial company be registered to take over a financial institution that requires a very high financial professionalism to operate?

WHAT ARE THE MOTIVES BEHIND THE SUDDEN LIQUIDATION AND TAKE OVER OF SKYE BANK PLC?

WHO ARE THOSE BEHIND POLARIS BANK LIMITED?

WHO IS MUHAMMAD K. AHMAD (chairman Polaris Bank) and ADETOKUNBO M. ABIRU (Group Managing Director/CEO) of Polaris Bank???

Was Skye Bank distressed? Why did CBN gave them N100b and swapped its ownership overnight to a "Bank" that was issued a registration certification same day without operating experience and headquarters??? Does the government have hands on this deal or did CBN act on their own?

BEYOND WHAT MOST OF US DON'T KNOW ABOUT WHAT IS HAPPENING!!

Please know that with the fake certificate of incorporation given by the CAC and the CBN operating license to the yet to be registered bank, it means the fraudsters have taken over ownership of Nigeria's 10% stake in the SAT-3 through Skye Bank's ownership of Nitel, making them take over the control of the backbone infrastructure for ICT, the SAT-3 automatically.

THIS IS NO JOKE, NIGERIANS!

So, with all these in the fraudsters kitty, apart from the $380m loan for ICT from China gone, the control over social media and all ICT platforms as regards 2019 elections has just been taken over for manipulations or possible shutdown.

AND THIS HAS BEEN THE DESIRE OF THE GOVERNMENT TO TAKE OVER THE MEDIA AND THE SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS IN Nigeria!!

HERE I  present to you the Polaris Bank "fake" certificate of incorporation, the search revelation and the fake bank circular letter to staff and management of Skye Bank PLC.

BE ALERT!! DO THIS GOVERNMENT WANT TO DESTROY THIS COUNTRY BY ALL MEANS!

#share until it gets to the authorities!

INEC & NIGERIAN DEMOCRACY.

HELP,HELP,A COMPROMISED INEC IS MURDERING NIGERIA'S HARD EARNED DEMOCRACY.

BY CHIEF MIKE OZEKHOME,SAN,OFR,FCIArb,Ph.D
The announcement by INEC,that the Osun state election conducted on Saturday,22nd September2018,was inconclusive and the fixing of 27th of September for a so called rerun,is a dangerous subversion and travesty of the electoral process,a blow to our hard earned constitutional democracy and an ominous sign of the farce to expect in 2019-subversion of the people's will.INEC has earned for itself the inglorious reputation of holding inconclusive elections (Kogi,Bayelsa,et al);and working in cahoot with the ruling APC party, always eager to do its dirty electoral bidding,to commit daylight robbery of votes. This they have just done to Adeleke's votes to defeat the will and legitimate franchise of the good people of Osun state.I wholly condemn this ludicrous mockery of our electoral process and constitutionalism. There is no basis whatsoever, whether in law, constitutionalism,or morality,to have declared the election inconclusive. The Constitution of Nigeria and the Electoral Act ONLY  recognise LAWFUL AND VALID VOTES in declaring a candidate winner of an election. This presupposes that some votes would be unlawful and invalid.Consequently, where votes are cancelled or invalidated for any reason howsoever, including for being invalid and unlawful, such votes are immediately and automatically cancelled, deducted and consigned to the dustbin of history. In any case,it was not wholesale results in the election that were voided and cancelled.Only votes that INEC had adjudged illegitimate due to irregularities were voided and cancelled. This cancellation and voidance of illegitimate votes effected all the political parties, not just APC and PDP,but especially Omisore's SDP,whose two strongest fortes in Ife axis were badly effected.Such voided votes are ignored and unreckoned with, for they are a non sequitur. They are as dead as dodo.Having failed to viciously intimidate and rig the elections as they did in Ekiti State, due to the people's courageous resistance, the APC has now used its electoral arm,INEC,to do the unthinkable, that which is clearly illegal, unconstitutional, immoral and a brazen assault on our sensibilities and constitutional democracy.
Section 179(2)(a)(b) of the 1999 Constitution (the grundnorm and supreme law of the land ),is crystal clear and unambiguous that Adeleke and PDP have won and met the electoral requirements to be formally  declared winners of the Osun state election. It provides:
"A candidate for an election to the office of a governor of a state shall be deemed to have been duly elected where, there being two or more candidates-(a) he has the highest number of votes cast at the election;and
(b) he has not less than one-quarter of all the votes cast in each of least two-thirds of all the local government areas in the state". Adeleke satisfied this provision.
In Osunbor v Oshiomhole (2007) 18 NWLR(part 1065) 32,cancelled votes had been counted and added to PDP/Osunbor's scores. The courts,up to the Supreme Court, held that when votes are cancelled, they are not reckoned with in determining the outcome of such an election. The courts thereafter deducted the invalidated votes and this gave victory to Oshiomhole in the hotly contested election. To avoid disenfranchisement of eligible voters, only votes in areas where election did not hold at all are considered for  the purpose of calculating total votes. Some people may argue, ignorantly,in my humble opinion, that section 69 of the Electoral Act or other guidelines issued by INEC justify this electoral perversion.I will quickly remind such people that those provisions or guidelines are subject to the overriding authority of the provisions of the Nigerian Constitution, which is supreme. The Constitution is the Kabiyesi,Eze and Emir,in the hierarchy of Nigerian laws. All others are like Bales and Chiefs, that must bow before this king. The provisions of the Constitution therefore  clearly override the provisions of the Electoral Act and any guidelines issued by INEC,by virtue of sections 1() and 1(3) of the 1999 Constitution. They are  consequently null and void to the extent of the inconsistency.See the celebrated case of Nyesom Wike v Dakuku Petersude (2016) 7 NWLR (part 1512) 574.It is clear to me that INEC 's decision is more of a political hubris than one anchored on solid laws, whether the Constitution,or Electoral Act.
Collation of all the results in Osun had already been done by INEC in accordance with section 27(1)(a)(v)) and (c) of the Electoral Act, 2010,as altered. The state collation was completed under section 27(d) and the results   ought to have declared Adeleke the winner under section 27(f),having polled 256,219 majority votes to beat APC's candidate who scored 255,309 votes. The provisions of section 69 of the Electoral Act(which in any case,is inferior to section 179(2)) of the Constitution, were thus amply satisfied. The constitutional, legal and moral profanity that INEC has thus engaged by ordering a repeat election is to invalidate the people's valid and legitimate votes,in strange preference for legally voided illegitimate votes that no longer mattered or counted.TheReturning Officer's duty was simply to announce the winner, having declared all the results, and not to usurp the role of the Election Petition Tribunal,by altering the texture and tenor of the outcome, through its order for a rerun. What happens to the legitimate votes of the other candidates who will not participate in the rerun and their electors' will, one may ask?
By the way,why is INEC changing the goal posts and revising history because APC was roundly defeated in the election? Recall that during the Kogi state bye elections of August,2018,over 19 000 votes were cancelled and voidedThis tremendously outstripped the 12,000 votes difference between the two leading candidates.Yet,in Osun state, only 3,498 votes were cancelled in Orolu,Ife South,Ife North and Osogbo LGAs.How can that affect the humongous votes ganered by Adeleke? PDP and Adeleke should immediately head for the courts to seek an order of mandamus, compelling INEC to declare him winner.Alternatively, he can approach the Election Petition Tribunal with all the votes cast, urging it to declare him winner. He has won his people's hearts with his performance in the Senate and mesmerising dance steps of a teenager. INEC,I beg of you, don't kill our hard earned constitutional democracy on the alter of corruption and official comprise of the ruling party.

Many Lessons from Buharis Presidency

THE MANY LESSONS OF THE BUHARI PRESIDENCY.

By Charles Ogbu

There is a sense in which it can be argued that the Buhari govt has indeed recorded what can be rightly termed paradoxical achievements. Not only has it helped set some of our history straight (like the twisted history of Muhammadu Buhari fighting corruption between 1984-85), it has opened our eyes to the fact that most of those we call Patriots are in fact morally treasonous Shylocks who are of a very distant relation with the words Patriotism, integrity and of course, common sense.

For instance,

We now know that the Buhari myth is what it has always been - a myth; one that has since been completely shattered beyond recognition. The Daura lifeless one has been fully and conclusively exposed as a generational human tragedy.

We now know that the #OneNigeria slogan is a poorly crafted fraud built and sustained over the years with that black liquid substance called oil. Every single lie we've been using to sustain the #OneNigeria slogan, Buhari has simply destroyed them all and magnified the lie to such a level where even the blind can now see it for the lie that it is. The inability of the intellectually unfortunate lanky ex soldier (Buhari) to diplomatize his ethno-religious irredentism is one thing I should consider an honest evil here.

We now know that the #OneNorth slogan is another lie. The North has never been one. The #ScionsOfDanfodio only treats the whole North as one when they want to use Northern Christians and other Minorities to achieve some dark aim. Well, this little lie just got bursted by the emergence of Buhari as President. The govt-sponsored Fulani herdsmen murderous indiscretions just solved that confusion.

By opposing a dictator (Abacha) only to turn around to almost single-handedly foist an even more deadly dictator (Buhari) on Nigerians, we now know that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is neither a Patriot nor a Democrat but a common political merchant who would waste no time in seeing Nigeria burn if only the ashes could gift him with more coins and gold.

We now know that in the 21st century 2018, some Igbo, Yoruba and Niger Delta politicians from the APC stock could still be mentally kwashiokored enough to be promised the 2023 Presidency ALL AT THE SAME TIME by one man who has proven his deep seated hatred for their respective peoples.

We now know that some very senior Nigerian lawyers didn't chose to be lawyers because they want to GENUINELY serve in the temple of justice. Quite the contrary, very reasonable percent of them went to law school just so they could acquire the skills to make money even if it means subverting the course of justice. Most importantly, the Buhari presidency has proven that being a lawyer DOESN'T NECESSARILY make one a learned person. Most Nigerian lawyers are over-rated. Some of them got into law school with forged WAEC result, even. Chief Okoi Obono-obla is a good example. In a saner clime where merit has meaning, some Nigerian so called SANs would be doing agboro work somewhere in Ochanja market. Look Prof. Itsa Sagay for instance: he is such an authority in contract law that most Nigerian lawyers today had to read his books in their journey to lawyerhood but the same Prof Sagay publicly told us that it didn't matter that Kemi Adeosun forged her NYSC exemption certificate. A SAN who doesn't understand that forgery is a crime anywhere in the world, is that one a SAN??

We now know that our Constitution is nothing but an apartheid document which can be abused and trashed by the President with absolutely no consequences. President Buhari has not only repeatedly violated the damn book, he has equally treated both the judiciary and the parliament with crude disdain and gone scot-free.

We now know that both the Nigerian Bar Association, the Nigerian Labour Congress, the Civil Society Groups and the opposition PDP are just an assemblage of lifeless bodies more useless than a flaccid penis.

The NBA sat back and allowed a democratically elected President destroy the grund norm of their profession without any challenge. The NLC and Civil Society groups were even more shameless in their complicity. On its part, the PDP has proven its uselessness beyond doubt unlike the then opposition APC which used the ChibokGirls saga and corruption to successfully paint the then ruling PDP as an ear sour. Now, we've had the herdsmen ethnic cleansing with clear evidence of APC govt complicity. We've had the DapchiGirls abduction with the APC govt proving it has a working political intercourse with the Boko boys. We've had brain rebooting cases of industrial-scaled massive corruption, yet, the PDP has woefully failed to maximize any of the aforementioned opportunities, to their eternal shame.

Most importantly, the Buhari presidency has proven that Nigeria was fundamentally structured NEVER to work and will sooner than later collapse under the weight of her internal contradictions and numberless injustices unless we restructure to enthrone merit, justice, equity and fairness or we peacefully break up to allow each of the peopleS live the way they were living before the white men came with their pernicious enterprise called Colonization.

In the end, no one can fool us anymore with some trashy talk of Buhari's integrity, how he could have fought and eliminated corruption or how he would have been a no nonsense leader. We have all seen that the man is not even fit to preside over his own life.

ELECTRIC TRICYCLE MADE IN ABA HITS THE ROADS THIS MONTH

Update: More Details about Nigerian Made Keke Napep

The people in Aba are well known for their business expertise and their ability to manufacture local products, and they have lived up to expectation with their latest invention
Ifeanyi Okafor, who hails from Umuchu, Anambra State, successfully manufactured the tricycle.
A graduate of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Ifeanyi Okafor explains that the project began in 2015, during the fuel scarcity that hit the country in May/June. Angered by a system which he explains, “holds the people to ransom”, he started researching and designing the prototype which would run on electricity rather than fuel. Okafor leases keke napeps to drivers who he said complained often about a lack of fuel impeding business. These propelled Okafor on a search for an alternative means of powering the keke napeps.

According to a report from AutoSage, the name of the manufacturer who hails from Anambra state is Ifeanyi Nnamdi Okafor.

The tricycle is said to run at 50km/ph which is the speed limit for now; to avoid accidents on the road. Compared to the petrol-powered Keke of 56km/ph.
According to Mr. Okafor, the safety of the driver and the passenger is of utmost importance to him. He also said that he plans to take advantage of safety technology to protect the Keke from theft.
“An app will be made in order to register each tricycle, which will enable it be tracked in case of theft,” he said.
“For now, there is no commercialization,” he said. “But on 27th August, 2018, I will publicly announce how much it will be for sale and how it works too and how it’s being maintained.”

POWER OF LOVE & LOVE OF POWER

 Abimbolu Ogunbanwo
Copied:
The WEAK AND INCOMPETENT GOODLUCK JONATHAN
- He was weak because he embraced the "POWER OF LOVE" over the "LOVE OF POWER"
I have NEVER seen a man so insulted in his life YET so loved. 2 years gone and the North has called him names, the South West has called him names; the South East has called him names even his brothers have bashed him, YET he remains the light that was at the end of a very dark tunnel. I have never seen a leader who preferred the "POWER OF LOVE" to the "LOVE OF POWER". I have never seen a calmer and humble man like this "weak" JONATHAN. Like David tending to his flocks in the bush, GEJ was tending to students in the classroom and then he was approached to get his 2 passports. Grace had found him as he was picked to become a deputy governor without a godfather or political background or friends. From there is history........
............. The weak and incompetent man climbed to the number one spot even in the midst of STRONG AND COMPETENT MEN.
SOME OF HIS QUOTES REALLY SHOWED HOW WEAK HE WAS.
1) Only a weak man will say "My political ambition is not worth the blood of any Nigerian" strong men will say "When I lose the election, the dogs and baboons will be soaked in their blood".
2) Only a weak man after being insulted by other regions will say "We are not sworn enemies… We are neighbours who sometimes offend each other, but can always sit down to talk over our differences". Strong men will send crocodile tears, and python dance to the regions to kill innocent people.
3) GEJ was weak, only a weak man would say "Nobody should rig for me. I am assuring Nigerians that though I am contesting, nobody must manipulate votes in my favour. Our votes must count, one man one vote, one woman one vote, one youth, one vote" Strong men just write results in Aso Rock and damn the consequences.
4) Only a weak man would make a call after he has lost an election that was manipulated just to save millions of lives and he said "It was an election and not a war, there was no winner and no loser, we all want a better country". Strong men after they have lost will order their supporters to kill corpers and even the pregnant corpers and take out the babies.
5) He was so weak he said and meant this "I am loyal to Nigeria’s economy. I don’t have accounts or property abroad. All my children live and school in Nigeria". Strong men have their Children live and school in UK all their lives insulting GEJ and instigating anarchy in a country they and their families are not living.
6) WEAK men own up to challenges but still say "We may not have overcome our challenges, but neither have our challenges overcome us". Strong men when faced with challenges just BLAME GEJ.
7) Weak men preach peace because they are weak "Our founding fathers… did not dream of a country where neighbours and friends would exchange bullets in place of handshakes". Strong men say is either this or WE DIE, while their children and wife are in far away UK. Strong men say it's BLOOD for BLOOD.
8) A weak man will unite all tribes together as one. But a strong man will bring about division among tribes as we can testify the statement "onstituencies that gave me 97% can not in all honesty be treated, on some issues, with constituencies that gave me 5%".
9) Only a weak man would leave Aso rock healthy with his wife and family. We all know what happened to the strong men before and after him.
I can go on and one to prove GEJ was a "weak man". But lastly only a weak man can say this "I prefer to see the silver lining in the dark cloud rather than the dark cloud in the silver lining". This is why he never answers them; he sees the silver lining in the insults and they only make him stronger. 3 years gone, and he has loved ones that would stand by him.
MAY GEJ LIVE LONG AND MAY GOD GRANT HIM THE GRACE NEVER TO CHANGE FROM BEING WEAK TO BEING "STRONG". AGAIN ONLY A WEAK PRESIDENT CAN UNITE NIGERIA THE WAY HE DID. 2 YEARS GONE AND A STRONG AND COMPETENT MAN HAS TORN NIGERIA APART. INDEED THERE LIES GREAT UNTOLD STRENGTH IN WEAKNESS AND GEJ PROVES THAT.
IF EVERYONE LEAVES THIS MAN, I WILL BE THE LAST PERSON TO INSULT HIM; HE IS MY WEAK HERO.

THE YORUBA RESPONSE TO FULANI MENACE

BEING THE RESOLUTIONS ARRIVED AT FROM THE EMERGENCY YORUBA FARMERS SUMMIT HELD ON THURSDAY 15TH FEBRUARY, 2018 AT THE HOUSE OF CHIEFS, PARLIAMENT BUILDING, SECRETARIAT, IBADAN UNDER THE AUSPICES OF OODUA REDEMPTION ALLIANCE

Theme: JUST BEFORE THE FULANIS FINISH US!

1. That we are conscious of the character trait of the Fulanis that they conquer people, occupy their lands and rule over the land.
2. That this led to their conquest, domination and rule over the entire Hausa land till today.
3. That we have the memory, to the external shame of us Yorubas anyway, how the Fulanis tricked the Ilorin Yorubas into capturing their land over which they rule till today.
4. That we are conscious of their further incursion efforts into the entire Yoruba land which led to the Osogbo war of 1840 between the Fulanis and the Ibadan warlords who decisively routed them thus stopping their further incursion.
5. That we are aware of their ceaseless plots and strategy to still capture Yoruba land in fulfillment of the will of their forebear Uthman Dan Fodio whose design was that the conquest of the Yorubas would only stop at the ocean in Lagos where their blood-stained swords would be washed.
6. That we are conscious of the highest degree of harms the Fulani herdsmen have done to our farmers over the decades where their cattle destroy their farm crops at will, where they rape their wives and children and kill anybody who dares their will with impurity.
7. That the resurgence or large scale perpetration of the evil has now gotten to an uncontrollable and unacceptable level that an open confrontation or war has now been provoked between the Yorubas and the Fulanis.
8. That before the war is ignited, we have deemed it fit to call this summit where we shall discuss and make our grouse and positions known to the Nigerian government and the global community to the effect of our further intolerance of the menace on our racial pride.
9. That, therefore, the idea of the Federal Government contemplating at all in the first instance to establish colonies or grazing reserves for the Fulanis is a direct ploy to take Nigerians’ lands for the Fulanis, and this is absolutely unaccepted to the Yorubas.
10. That the basis for giving preferential or sacred cow treatment to the Fulani herdsmen whose business contribute no resources whatsoever to the coffers of Nigerian government is not there at all.
11. That it is on record that 95% of the resources sustaining Nigerian government comes from the Southern part of the country.
12. That the cattle business of the Fulani herdsmen is their personal affair which other people of the country must not be sacrificed for.
13. That we are taking this opportunity to appreciate and declare as heroes the Governor of Kano State Mallam Abdullahi Ganduje and his Niger State counterpart Alh. Abubakar Sani Bello for gratuitously offering to allocate mass of lands respectively such sufficient enough as to harbor all the Fulani herdsmen in the country for the grazing of their cattle.
14. That consequent upon this, we implore the Federal Government to appreciate these gestures and seize the opportunity by the forelock and so direct all Fulani herdsmen in the country to relocate to Kano and Niger States respectively.
15. That we hereby implore the rest of the Northern Governors to emulate these two heroes.
16. That failure to accept these offers, any further incidents of farm destruction or attack on any person of Yoruba extraction in any Yoruba parts of Nigeria covering Lagos, Ogun, Oyo, Osun, Ekiti, Ondo, Kwara, Kogi, Edo and Delta States would be given commensurate reprisals.
17. That essentially speaking, we implore all Fulani herdsmen to vacate Yoruba land with immediate effect and relocate to Kano and Niger States or their Northern States of conquest.
18. That we are conscious of the fact that a lot of our well-to-do people in Yoruba land also have their cattle breeding contracted to the Fulani herdsmen.
19. That we therefore implore all Yorubas in this category to withdraw their cattle with immediate effect and establish ranches, pens or byres for their cattle breeding.
20. That we take this opportunity to implore our well-to-do people to begin cattle breeding enterprises in a very conventional way.
21. That we implore all our states to establish cattle-breeding settlements for the beef consumption of our people without having to depend on the Fulanis’ cattle, after all, cattle-breeding is not a monopoly for the Fulanis alone.
22. That we are conscious of the fact that some of our traditional rulers in Yoruba land like Obas, Baales and Community leaders encourage the encroachment of the Fulani herdsmen into our lands by giving them titles like Jowuro, Seriki and Baranda. All traditional or community leaders in this category are implored to retract such titles.
23.  That we emphasize that our traditional or community leaders should desist from mortgaging our land and the lives of our people to the Fulanis the way they did in the era of slave-trading.
24. That we take this opportunity to declare Mr. Ayodele Fayose the Ekiti State Governor as a hero of Yoruba land for being the only Yoruba governor who took the bull by the horns by legislating against the menace of the Fulanis in his State.
25. That we therefore implore all other Yoruba governors to be courageous enough as to follow suit.
26. That we are conscious that our law enforcement agents and military men have now started falling victims of the Fulani herdsmen’s menace.
27. That we therefore implore them not to be kowtowed by any compromise against their people but rather join us in the battle against the crudity and baseless murders of the people and destruction of farm lands.
28. That we commiserate with Governor Sam Otom and the people of Benue State on the recent evil perpetrated against their kinsmen.
29. That we also commiserate with all Yorubas’ relations who have fallen victims of the Fulani’s menace over the decades and most recently.
30. That we share our feelings with Chief Olu Falae and Admiral Samuel Afolayan a former Chief of Naval Staff of Nigeria over the wanton and massive destruction of their respective farmlands by the Fulani herdsmen.
31. That a standing committee of representatives from each state shall be established to ensure the implementation of the resolutions so arrived at.
